The parking lot is a little confusing. We have made a Map, so you will have no trouble finding the parking.
The newly expanded space offers over 5,000 square feet which house cutting edge equipment and experienced trainers who offer clients unique and creative sessions. The parking lot can be a bit confusing, so feel free to consult our map. In addition to a full Pilate apparatus studio, this site offers a revolving rock-climbing wall, Olympic rings, Jacob’s ladder and cargo nets. This site is also a full gym with a weight room, kettlebells and cardiac equipment.
Trainers
Barry Foor
Barry started with Forever Fit in 2003 to complete an internship for his Delaware Tech. studies in exercise science. After graduating in 2005, he began working with Forever Fit clients of all types doing resistance, cardiovascular, and flexibility training, with special interest in improving clients’ overall fitness and health. His interest in helping clients of all types prompted him to further his education through Delaware Tech’s Physical Therapy Assistant program, and he now works part-time as a personal trainer and also works part-time as a physical therapist assistant. Barry’s interest in physical conditioning began in high school, where he competed at the state level as a wrestler. He believes a healthy body promotes a healthy mind.
Charissa Hines
Charissa Hines is a certified Group Fitness Instructor, and Personal Trainer who specializes in Pilates training. Additionally she holds certifications in cycling and senior fitness, and has been teaching fitness for over 17 years. She received most of her training in Seattle and North Carolina. Charissa has a business degree, however fitness is her first love. She has been the fitness coordinator at two facilities, and is training in the Ki-Hara method of resistance stretching as well as aerial yoga. Augmenting the differing Pilates apparatus with BOSU, foam roller and functional fitness techniques provide for a thorough strength and cardio workout.
David Thornburg
David Thornburg is certified in personal training through the I.S.S.A (International Sports Science Association) also in Resistance Stretching. No matter what your age or previous workout history, he can design a workout that will fit your needs. David is versatile in many types of workouts regiments such as weight training, band resistance, calisthenics (body weight), cardio, pilates, and resistance stretching. You will never experience the same workout twice to accomplish your goals in gaining strength, flexibility or weight loss. Whether you are a weekend warrior or someone who likes to workout multiple times a week, he can accommodate to your schedule.
Nonnie/Nancy Hawkins Rigg
Nancy is the master trainer as well as founder and owner of Forever Fit Foundation. She is certified in Pilates, Gyrotonic, Gyrokinesis, Yamuna Body Rolling, Il-Khara resistance stretching and Muscle Activation Technique or MAT . She has been working in the fitness industry for 28 years. A certified athletic trainer, she earned her bachelors degree from the University of Delaware and her master’s degree in exercise science and sports medicine from Miami University in Ohio. Once upon a time, she was a national, world and American champion powerlifter. She is forever committed to continuing professional education. What this means is that she is able to train clients who want to get in shape, come back from an injury and/ or take their fitness to the next level.
Linda Knorr
Linda Knorr is an NSCA Certified Personal Trainer with 10 years experience in the fitness industry. Linda is also an instructor in both pilates and Gyrokinesis. She enjoys offering different types of body work to her clients to maximize their strength and flexibility and to contribute to their overall health. Linda is also a Certified Professional Life and Wellness Coach. Linda’s philosophy is that wellness coaching is a valuable tool for clients in helping them to define their wellness vision and the goals. The coaching process guides the client through the process in order to achieve success.
